A story born at the crossroads of creation and faith.
Pyratho: The Boy Without a Soul is a philosophical dark fantasy for readers who want a mythic adventure with an unresolved question at its heart.
The book
In Cavea, an old alchemist completes the Fifth Alchemical Work and brings an artificial child into the world. Pyratho is alive, but his existence unsettles every boundary that should have remained secure: natural and manufactured, sacred and forbidden, body and soul.
When Corax closes in, Pyratho must flee with the book that may hold the truth of his origin. What follows is a journey through pursuit, loss, wonder, danger, friendship, love, and encounters that turn one question into many: who has the authority to declare a soul present—or absent?
The book does not ask the reader to accept an answer. It asks the reader to travel far enough that the question can no longer remain abstract.
The author
F. F. Anes is an electronic engineer who has spent more than two decades building and leading high-performance teams across global technology and data-center operations. Working where engineering precision meets human unpredictability, he became increasingly drawn to the questions beneath innovation: not only what humanity can build, but what it should build.
Pyratho: The Boy Without a Soul grew from that convergence. Anes writes speculative fiction at the threshold where technology meets the soul—not to answer ancient questions, but to give them the weight they deserve.
